MUMBAI: Sunny Deol's Gadar, Gadar 2 ended up being blockbusters. Now, after the brilliant success of Gadar 2, Sunny's hit film Border will reportedly have a sequel titled Border 2 which will release theatrically in 2026. Well, Border sequel reports have been in talks by the makers for 2-3 years as per a report by Pinkvilla. A unique tale from the 1971 India-Pakistan war which has not been shown or told on the big screen will show fans a spectrum bigger than the events that took place in Gadar 2.

Border 2 will be grand as reportedly it will have stars from the younger generation and would be heavy on action. The full troop from Border won't be seen apart from Sunny, who reportedly would be the only star from Border who would be seen in Border 2. The movie would be grander than the action scenes seen in Gadar 2, where Sakina aka Ameesha Patel stole the limelight. Talking about Sunny Deol's Border which was released back in 1997, the stellar cast included Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry, Pooja Bhatt, Tabu, Sharbani Mukherjee.  Raakhee, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Puneet Issar were also seen. The entire cast had given a bang-on performance.

Well with Gadar 2, Sunny rewrote History in Indian cinema. Audiences were crazy to watch him in the film, and we wonder they would be crazier to watch him in Border 2. Talking about Gadar 2, the film was directed by Anil Sharma and was released on August 11, 2023.
