MUMBAI: Mother's Day is celebrated to honor and appreciate the love and sacrifices of mothers, and is a day to express gratitude for their immense contributions to families and society. This Mother's Day, Sony SAB's artists are taking a heartfelt journey down memory lane, reminiscing about the invaluable role their mothers have played in shaping their lives and careers. From fond memories to heartfelt emotions, they candidly share their experiences, offering a glimpse into the profound maternal love.  

Karuna Pandey, who plays the role of Pushpa in Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible, said, “Mothers are a very essential part of our lives as they are the ones who know you in and out. She is the one who keeps you in her body for 9 months and goes through excruciating pain so that you can come into this world and love you unconditionally. My mother is a very kind and humble human being. She doesn’t hold grudges against anybody.”

Anjali Tatrari, who plays the role of Yuvika in Sony SAB’s Vanshaj, said,“Mothers have the utmost importance in our lives and we are nothing without them. I lost my father when I was 4 years old and since then my mom raised me as a single parent. Throughout my life, I have seen my mother working hard to make ends meet, sacrificing her dreams to provide me with everything that I wanted. I can proudly say that whatever I am today is due to my mother’s upbringing. I wish I had the qualities of being calm and patient like my mother and would be happy if I became even 1% of what my mom is.”

Ayushi Khurana, who plays the role of Pallavi in Sony SAB’s Aangan Aapno Kaa, said, “I can never imagine a life without my “mumma.” Mother is the most selfless person in this world who starts loving her children even before they come into this world. Nothing could be compared to a mother's love in this world as it is the purest form of love. My mother's dedication inspires me every day. Her commitment to giving her all in everything she does is what I admire most. I've looked up to her since I was a child.”

Neetha Shetty, who plays the role of Deepika in Sony SAB’s Aangan Aapno Kaa, said, “My mother is my everything - she's not just my parent, but also my friend, mentor, and source of inspiration. Her unwavering support and guidance have shaped who I am today. Witnessing her resilience in tough times has instilled in me the determination to never give up. I believe girls inherit their mother's nurturing instincts, as I have, unconsciously adopted their love, care, and support.”

Naveen Pandita who plays the role of Ashwin in Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible said, “My mom means everything to me. She's not just a parent, but also a friend. Without her, I can’t do anything. She's kind, caring, and down-to-earth. If someone needs help, she's always there, without holding any grudges. I think when a woman becomes a mom, she naturally inherits her mom's nurturing qualities because those feelings are in our genes.”
