MUMBAI: As we all know, India is one of the hottest tropical countries in the world, whose summer temperatures range from 28-35 degrees C and under extreme conditions, it can even soar up to 40 degrees C and beyond (especially upon the Thar desert and over other relatively arid zones).

Hence, wild heat calls for loose drapes and comfortable garments (mainly cotton-based) over delicate and elaborate body-hugging garments made of heavier materials and hence, people ditch the latter. However, it becomes a bit difficult to maintain the individual's style-statement under the unbearably hot sun with sweat constantly dripping down your body and wetting the garments in no time (considering that most of India's urban cities and towns have a high humidity rate). Hence, one must try experimenting with loosely-fit one-pieces to keep it airy internally, in order to beat the ugly heat.

In the choice of fabrics, cotton garments are highly recommended to soak up the sweat. However, individuals also opt for other loose fabrics like chiffon, georgette, net, synthetic and others related. Fusion fabrics like tericott are under high demand for exhibiting the characteristics of both cotton and synthetic fabrics - soaking extra sweat and providing both elasticity and flairiness to the garment of concern (be it a flowy long-dress, long-skirt, etc.).

Coming to the desired colours, people avoid wearing dark and consummative colours under the heat as per the physics rule, dark colours absorb more heat and make the garments unwearable. Hence, pure whites, pastels of bright hues like blues and pinks, bright and happy colours that instantly lit up others' moods like yellow, green, orange, neon colours, citric (fruit-inspired) colours, cocktail colours and different forms of multi-coloured foliage or geometric prints to vibe with the weather's energy are commonly opted for during summers; as they help reflect the heat away! For the unversed, the sun's powerful rays often bleach up dark colours from the garments if exposed under direct sunlight for a long time.

Keeping the above factors in mind, our popular telly divas from the entertainment industry provide major and easy summer-style goals that are not just easy to keep up with the scorching heat, but also to maintain an individual's style-statement even at times of killer-heat.

Actress Erica Fernandes wore this beautiful rainbow-inspired multicoloured short-dress during her recent vacations in the Maldives.

Tejasswi Prakash s effortlessly beating her summers with that multi-layered and ruffled bright-yellow midi-dress.

Srishti Rode looks super happy as she reflects her comfort level in that blue cotton dress through her dancing pose.

Mouni Roy is giving major airy vibes in her peach-coloured super-flowy long dress. The cuts and the design of her garment gives it a pretty stylish approach as well.

Anjum Fakih looks so calm and composed as her bright-yellow skirt is doing all the wind-talking.

Jennifer Winget looks ravishing in that perfectly-balanced flowy-monokini that's secured with that statement high-waisted belt. Her attire looks both loud and sober simultaneously, owing to those irregular bright prints on that cream-base.

Hina Khan looks like an inverted lily flower in that ensemble of a flowy full-length dress, her funky slippers, shades and that statement yellow hat. Her garments' design and drapes stole the show.

Karishma Tanna looks like a piece of cloud on the land in that white-and-blue, chequered-printed, cotton-based ensemble of a tube top and a high-waisted long skirt. Her heartiest smile vibes with her comfort in that garment and compels everybody looking at the picture feel as light as she does herein.

Helly Shah looks super graceful in this lively floral-printed pink long-dress by dropping major summer goals!

Shrenu Parikh's look herein gives us a major coral-reef beach vibe despite not being on the beach herself, owing to her long summer dress' patterns on it's common off-white base, especially those black and orange strokes. Also, her shades add that necessary missing 'beach-factor' to her look.

Finally, a garden appeal is the most important factor we crave for in our summer dresses and lavender fits as the perfect colour to add that vibe. With a playful Surbhi Jyoti getting sun-soaked, her lavender-coloured cold-shouldered mid-dress is elevating both her mood and her vibe amid her surroundings.
