Palace of Westminster honour for Jackie Shroff

Jackie Shroff, who made his debut in Dev Anand’s Swami Dada in a cameo, has been honoured at the Palace of Westminster for his contribution to the promotion of South Asian arts and culture through films. On the occasion of his felicitation, leading Labour MP and joint chair of the Indo-British All-Party Parliamentary Group, Virendra Sharma presented Shroff with a plaque last evening. The Palace of Westminster is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
