Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor once in his interview said that he believes himself to be young enough to try his hands on different genres of films. And it seems that young actor Jay Soni is a true follower of what his inspiration Ranbir has said, who loves watching films irrespective of the genre.

The young talent Jay, who is currently busy with Comedy Superstars (SAB TV), is one performer who draws inspiration from many actors and is a complete movie buff.

Are you a movie buff?

Yes, I am a complete movie buff. I love watching films.

What kind of movies you like to watch?

To be honest, though I love every genre of films, I have certain soft corner for performance oriented movies. They draw my attention easily.

Tell us about your favourite movie scene?

There are two particular scenes from the movies Badlapur and Barfi, which I really adore. Firstly, the climax scene of Badlapur is one of my favourites and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s performance for that particular sequence is worth mentioning.  And coming to my second most favourite scene, it is from Barfi, where Ranbir goes to Ileana’s place to ask for her hand and finds out that her match has already been fixed. That scene is followed by Ranbir’s performance for few minutes without any dialogue or music. It was an amazing sequence.

So who are your favourite hero and heroine?

My favourite actors are Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ranbir Kapoor. And as far actresses are concerned, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone are two favourites of mine.

What was the last movie you watched?

Mission Impossible- Rogue Nation.

Cinema for you is…

For me cinema is inspiration and motivation. Films motivate me to try something new and it makes me experience lot of emotions.

You keep busy as an actor…so how do you prefer watching movies?

•          On the go- internet

•          Movie On demand

•          Rent DVDs                

All three options are good and have made movie watching experience better. But personally I like to watch in a theatre.
