Arjun Chakraborty wins Best Supporting Actor Award at Telangana Bengali Film Festival

Actor Arjun Chakraborty has bagged an award for his performance in the Arindam Sil directed film Byomkesh Gowtro. The Bengali film is based on a Byomkesh Bakshi story Rakter Daag by eminent author Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. It stars Abir Chatterjee in the central role of sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi, while Arjun plays the role of Satyakam Das.

Byomkesh Gowtro won Best Film in the popular category at the Telangana Bengali Film Festival, and Arjun won the Best Supporting Actor Award.

Arindam took to social media to make the announcement. He wrote, ‘#ByomkeshGowtro wins Best Film in popular category and @Arjun_C wins Best Supporting Actor at #TelanganaBengaliFilmFestival at Hyderabad.’

Crisscross, Andarkahini, and Chirodini Tumi Je Amar fame actress Priyanka Sarkar celebrated the birthday of her son, Shohoj, in an adorable way.
