Congratulations are in order for the newest mommy in town, Tejaswini Kolhapure. The actress delivered a baby girl yesterday afternoon at Lilavati hospital. Tejaswini delivered her first child with husband Pankaj Sarswat after almost 8 years of marriage and understandably the couple is ecstatic.  

New father Pankaj was quoted saying, “We were really looking forward to this child. A daughter is all the more precious. Sons go away but daughters never leave you. It was a C-section but both mother and daughter are doing fine.” 

The entire Kolhapure clan which also includes Shraddha Kapoor’s family is said to have visited the new parents in the hospital yesterday. Shraddha who is now aunt to the new born reportedly wants to play the godmother.  

As for now, the family has not yet decided a name for the new born. For the moment, everyone is basking in the happiness that the little bundle of joy has brought for them. For Tejaswini, it’s double delight as her last release Ugly too had brought her great happiness.
