MUMBAI: Every actor blocks a certain date for his movie release, like Salman Khan for EID, Shah Rukh Khan in Diwali, Aamir Khan during Christmas, Akshay Kumar during Independence Day. These are few actors who lock in their dates way before to have a clear release for their movies.

As we all know Aamir Khan likes to release his films during Christmas. And the actor booked the slot well in advance when he announced his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha on his 54th birthday. But it seems like Bollywood will see one of the biggest clashes during Christmas 2020 as Akshay Kumar is set to lock horns with Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist on Christmas 2020.

Well, we know that a few months back Akshay Kumar had confirmed the release date of his movie Bachchan Pandey and now Aamir Khan too as confirmed the release date of his movie, initially the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha had second doubts of releasing the movie on the same day, but seems like they feel this is the perfect date to release the movie.

Laal Singh Chaddha is not just a film. It will be a reference for the world to see what happened in India in the past few years like how the Paramount film Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, did with reference to the US. Similarly, Lal Singh Chaddha will show Aamir meeting important political and historical personalities in VFX laden visuals and on the other hand Akshay will return to masala entertainers with Farhad Samji's Bachchan Pandey. Steering away from his Bharat Kumar image, the actor will be seen in a new avatar.

It will be very interesting to see which of these superstars coming on the same day and which one will be the winner at the Box office only time will tell.
