Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, model cum actress Kate Upton and many other well-heeled female brigade of Hollywood woke up on Monday morning to see their nude pictures taken during their most intimate moments splashed all over the internet in what is now being described as one of the biggest ever hacking leaks in the US. The photos were leaked by a yet unidentified hacker who allegedly hacked into the stars’ iCloud (Apple’s online data storage facility) accounts and stole these pictures. Hacking into these celebs Apple’s iCloud online data storage allowed the hacker uninhibited access to all the celebrities phones from where these intimate pictures were stolen and posted all over. The hacker reportedly posted over 60 pictures of Jennifer Lawrence on 4chan, an image sharing forum. Intimate pictures of 100 other celebrities including Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice were also flashed all over the net. The rogue hacker then raised claims of possessing nude images of many other stars and apparently declared of exchanging them for money to be paid via PayPal. Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson and Selena Gomez are among those celebrities whose photos the hacker claims to have acquired. The pictures though are yet to appear on the net. Reacting to the leak, a visibly irate Jennifer vowed to take legal action and said, "It's so weird and hard how people take your privacy away from you.” Her representative meanwhile said, "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.” Kate Upton’s representative said that they were “looking into” the authenticity of the indecent images and trying to verify if they are genuine. Meanwhile some celebs called their nudes fake while others confirmed its authenticity. American singer Victoria Justice through Twitter issued a clarification stating that the nude images of her floating around are fake. Final Destination actress Mary Winstead confirmed that the nude images doing the rounds are indeed hers taken during her private moments with her husband and took a dig at the pervert hacker for his creepy efforts. Apple has however not yet confirmed that its iCloud service was involved in the purported leak. The FBI has swung into action and is investigating the leak. Well, let’s hope the leak is plugged soon before more celebs are embarrassed by this flagrant intrusion into their private affairs.
