Sajid Khan is a beleaguered man these days. Post Humshakals, people have been bashing him black and blue for directing one of the worst ever slapstick comedies ever. Even the actors who starred in the movie have been going hammer and tongs against him. Evidently nothing is going right for the man at the moment. He even ended up losing out on directing Housefull 3, a successful franchise that he had helmed until now. The ones stepping into Sajid's boots happen to be the director duo, Sajid-Farhad. Thankfully, the duo unlike others extended their support to Sajid Khan and said that the director was unfairly being criticised for the debacle of Humshakals. "Bahut zyada ho gaya hai. Sajid himself had earlier admitted that he used boast but later accepted it and said that he would take care of it. Flops happen in everybody's career but that doesn't mean that the director should be blamed by one and all." The director duo sounded visibly excited at the prospect of directing Housefull 3. When asked if they had a talk about it with Sajid Khan who had directed the prequels, Sajid-Farhad said, " See it's simple. We got a call from Sajid Nadiadwala asking us to direct Housefull 3. The first question we asked him then was, 'What about Sajid Khan?' Nadiadwala replied that we are his first choice to direct the movie and if we refused he would approach someone else. So the matter rested there and we are happy to direct the movie." For the moment, it's their directorial debut, Entertainment starring Akshay that is keeping them on their toes. The movie releases on 8 August.
