MUMBAI: Jiah Khan, who had worked in 4 Bollywood movies, passed away at a very young age. She made her debut with Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd and was later seen in Ghajini, which starred Aamir Khan and Asin in it. She was also paired opposite Akshay Kumar in Housefull. Sadly, her filmy career was short-lived.

Jiah committed suicide on June 3rd, 2013. Since then, her death remains a mystery, as some letters written by her accuse her then-boyfriend, actor Sooraj Pancholi, of mental harassment. Today is the 31st birth anniversary of the actress.

At the age of 16, she was trained to be an Opera singer and had recorded six pop tracks too. Reportedly, Jiah also wanted to release a full album with the help of her friends. Not only this, she was also trained in belly dancing, lambada, salsa, Kathak, jazz, and samba dance forms.

Jiah was supposed to make her debut with Mukesh Bhatt's Tumsa Nahin Dekha but backed out when she felt the role was too mature for her.
