MUMBAI: Deepika and Ranveer, who are grabbing headlines these days as the power couple, will be getting married today. The duo first met on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and has since been in a steady relationship.

A crewmember told a leading publication how love blossomed between the couple on the sets of this film. It began with a passionate unscripted kiss during the shoot of the song Ang Laga De in Film City in 2012. The crewmember further stated that the couple’s lips were still locked even after the director had said cut. The crewmembers did doubt that the couple was dating, and the kiss confirmed their relationship.

The couple was open about their relationship on the sets. They would call each other ‘baby’, eat together, and then disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting, but everyone thought that this romance would fizzle away after the shoot.

The couple worked with each other again in Bajirao Mastani. The film became a blockbuster. Insiders further said that when they saw them during Bajirao Mastani, they knew that this is something that's would last forever.

Another source said that even during group dinners, the couple would have eyes only for each other. It was like nothing else matters. They would fly across continents to be with each other when their shooting schedules kept them apart for prolonged periods.

Another crewmember told the publication that during Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer would be present on the sets even after his shots were done; he used to give her cues when he didn’t have to. It felt like as if her career was more important than his. In fact, he was the first few people who had told her that she needed to go to Hollywood. ‘He's starry-eyed when she's around,’ the person said.
