Hamari Devrani jumps by 17 years; Bhakti dies

Star Plus’ “number one afternoon show Hamari Devrani” will take a leap of 17 years and so Bhakti’s daughter Aastha will grow up and will celebrate her 17th birthday. The major twist in the tale will be Bhakti’s death which has been aired in today’s episode and in the coming two episodes the family will be shown performing the post-death rituals. Aastha will be played by fresh face Vidhi Sindhwad.

Aastha hospitalised but the show goes on

Aastha Choudhary the face of Sony’s popular show<em> Babul Ka Aangan </em>was hospitalised this week. The actress who was diagnosed with malaria has been discharged from hospital only this afternoon. When an actor working in a daily is laid low the production house and the channel are almost on the verge of a breakdown as shooting gets stalled. But thanks to their good planning it was not the case with Babul…and fans will not face the nightmare of seeing repeats of the show. The channel has a dependable bank of episodes and hence the show goes on.
