Karmakar who has earlier done <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Bangla</em> was always confident of being in the top 5 but has been faring quite badly in the last couple of weeks.

Nice guys tend to finish last. Darjeeling's Prashant Tamang is an extremely nice guy but he could soon end up being the new <em>Indian Idol</em>. This sepoy from Darjeeling is currently plying his tricks on Sony's <em> Indian Idol.</em>

It's champagne time for <em>Indian Idol</em> Abhijeet Sawant, no doubt. But there's another lad who is celebrating with the bubbly too: Rahul Vaidya, one of the last four, who will start his playback singing career in Vashu Bhagnani's <em>Shaadi No.1</em>. Vashu Bhagnani has asked Vaidya to lend his singing talent (unquestionable) to his forthcoming film Shaadi No.1 directed by David Dhawan. Vaidya has agreed.
