Dhoom Macha De, Dhoom Macha De…Hold on folks…we are not singing the peppy number from the movie Dhoom but we are referring to couple <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/tee-and-bee-shake-leg-dubai>Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar Irani</a>’s play which has the title, <em>Dhoom Mache De</em>. And the duo has roped in some popular names from the television fraternity to be a part of the act.

The verdict is out. NDTV Imagine's first singing reality show,<em> Dhoom Macha De</em> concluded yesterday with the crowning of contestant Jaspinder Narula as the winner. She overcame stiff competition from 10 other singing superstars and walked away with the title of the best live performer, honours done by Bollywood queen Rani Mukherjee. "I'm filled with immense pleasure after winning this trophy. This was the sweet fruit of my karma and I'm really thankful to everyone," says an obviously-excited Jaspinder.

In keeping up with the trend of inviting Bolywood stars for the finals episodes, NDTV Imagine has invited Bollywood hunk Kunal Kapoor for their semi-final which will be broadcast on April 24th. With only four artists battling it out for the position of ‘best live performer’, the mood on the sets is tense! Kunal livens up the atmosphere as he lets his hair down and has a complete blast on the show.

Babul Supriyo is the latest singer to get eliminated from NDTV Imagine’s <em> Dhoom Macha De</em>. Now the show is left with three singers namely Jaspinder Narula, Richa Sharma and Devang Patel. The singer who received accolades from the judges left everyone present on the sets shocked when his eviction was announced. Babul sang <em>Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le</em> and received praises from Shankar Mahadevan who said, “Babul you have given the song your 100%. We just loved your rendition.”

This Friday, <em> Dhoom Macha De</em> presents a Baisakhi Special episode with the bubbly actress Preity Zinta. The episode begins with Preity Zinta making an entry on the anthem of her IPL cricket team Kings XI titled, “Go Punjabi”, originally sung by the king of Punjabi pop, Daler Mehndi.

Kamal Khan has been exiled from NDTV Imagine’s <em> Dhoom Mache De</em>. This weekend along with Kamal, Babul and Devang will be seen in the danger zone. “Kamal expected his elimination this time. He took it very sportingly and even judges were happy with his never say die attitude,” says our<em> khabroo</em> from the sets.

It seems Babul Supriyo took last week’s thrashing from judges quite seriously and has worked upon his performance. The singer who received some harsh comments from the jury especially Prasoon Joshi for his last performance has bounced back with a hit performance this week on NDTV Imagine’s <em> Dhoom Macha De</em>.

Singer Anaida is in pain. Recently the actress has sprained her neck but continues to shoot for her new show<em> Dhoom Macha De</em> on NDTV Imagine. The channel will be starting from 21Jan. “I’m pretty much in pain but can’t cancel the shoot. Yesterday was the first day of the schedule and I’m continuously shooting for two more days,” says Anaida.

Sharmila Tagore marks her television debut as the judge of NDTV Imagine's music reality show, <em> Dhoom Macha De</em>. Sharmila will be judging the show along with music director Shankar Mahadevan and creative whiz, lyricist and script writer Prasoon Joshi. These jury members along with the votes of the entire nation will adjudge the winner to uncover the country's "Best LIVE Performer."
