Fresh from the success of his Paresh Rawal-Akshay Kumar starrer Oh My God! Umesh Shukla is all set to direct his next for T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar and producer Varun Bajaj. Avers Kumar, “We are happy to announce Abhishek Bachchan as the lead of our ambitious next directed by Umesh Shukla. Last year has indeed been good for both; Abhishek with <em>Bol Bachchan</em> and Umesh with <em>OMG</em>!. My co-producers and I agreed that Abhishek fits the role. We didn’t even think of anyone else.”

Taking a cue from Remo D’souza whose first directorial venture ABCD-Any Body Can Dance is due to release on 8 February (2013), choreographer Bosco Martis, of the Bosco-Caesar duo, has decided to direct a film, said to be a remake of Korean film <em>My Girlfriend is an Agent</em>. According to Bosco, directing a film was always in his mind. Regarding the film, he averred, “Since a year, we have been working on the project," Bosco told.

If talks going around filmdom are to be believed, Ek Tha Tiger (ETT) director Kabir Khan is being seriously considered by producer Sajid Nadiadwala to direct his next Salman Khan-starrer <em>Kick</em>. This development comes on the heel of the super success of the Yash Raj Films’ Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer <em>Ek Tha Tiger</em>. It may be remembered that Shirish Kunder was the first choice to direct the Nadiadwala film but things didn’t work out.
