Panglosean’s love story <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/rakhi-dakssh-yeh-ishq-haye>Yeh Ishq Haye</a> for Star One has been in the making for quite some time now the latest on the show is it will go on air in the third week of October. The production house is currently shooting in Agra for the introductory sequences.

After enacting three negative roles in a row, Saillesh Gulabani is back to what he is best at. He is again playing a negative role in Zee Next’s<em> Ek Thi Rajkumari</em> by replacing Ayushman Khurana. Talking about his character, he says, “I am replacing Ayushman who was essaying the role of Prem. Prem is a conniving and sly character. It was a challenge for me as I was replacing Ayushman who was already popular with the viewers and I was briefed by the production house about the fact that I will have to put in my best to make my way through.”

Barely six months after he made his acting debut, MTV VJ Ayushmann Khurrana has called it quits as an actor on television. Ayushmann will no longer be seen in the fiction on the small screen. Says Ayushmann, “I’m not just quitting <em> Ek Thi Rajkumari</em> but you won’t me see me act in any fiction on television anymore. I shall now be working exclusively for MTV. My show <em> Wassup Youngistan</em> is now a daily. It’s not possible for me to do two dailies at a time. Besides, I have an exclusive contract with MTV and thus I had to quit <em> Ek Thi Rajkumari</em>.”

Love is in the air for Ali Merchant who is currently seen in two different dailies (<em> Ek Thi Rajkumari </em> and <em> Amber Dhara</em>). The 23- year- old actor is happy these days and the reason is none other than Anisha Kapoor aka Kalyaani from <em>Dahhej.</em> Ali and Anisha are fond of each other but they are not in a relationship as yet. “I’m close to Anisha and love her company. Same is the case with her but there is no special relationship currently,” says Ali.

The Pataudi Palace (near Gurgaon), ancestral home of erstwhile cricketing legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi which is converted to a Neemrana Group Non-Hotel is now up for shooting. It is the first time that this palace had been given out for a shooting. <em> Ek Thi Rajkumari</em> on Zee Next is the only serial that is being shot in the royal home. “It was a wonderful experience to shoot in Pataudi’s Palace. Initially we shot there for seven days in October and then four to five days in November and December,” says Ali Merchant who is currently part of the show.

Veteran actress Smita Jaykar, last seen in Star Plus's show <em> Kashmeer</em> (2003), now marks her return to the small screen with <em> Ek Thi Rajkumari </em> on Zee Next. Surprisingly, the actress can't recall when she last did a TV serial. Smita says, "I reckon it has been a good 12 years since I last worked on television. I don't even remember my last show." <strong> So what brings her back to the small screen?</strong>
