Indian Idol 6

It’s a shocker of an elimination at Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 6 this week with the most talented of the lot, Kaushik Deshpande bidding a teary adieu!! Yes, you heard it right!! Kaushik who has earlier been in the bottom three position was in the danger zone once again, and this time he was the unlucky one to bow out. Along with him, another rising star Poorvi Koutish and Amit Kumar were also in the bottom three.

The latest season of the popular singing reality show Indian Idol 6 has been filled with surprises and the fourth gala round was no less. The boys from the upcoming film <em>Kya Super Kool Hain Hum</em> got the opportunity to shake a leg with none other than the legendary Asha Bhosle.

The contestants of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 6 will be paying tribute to the ‘First Superstar’ and evergreen hero Rajesh Khanna who passed away this Wednesday (18 July 2012) after going through a prolonged illness. A list of memorable songs picturized on Rajesh Khanna like ‘<em>Zindagi Ek Safar’, ‘Oh Mere Dil Ke Chein’, ‘Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaaye</em>’ etc will be sung by the contestants. And yet another evergreen hero Jeetendra will be the Special Guest for the Rajesh Khanna tribute on <em>Indian Idol</em>.

Sohini Mishra and Charit Dixit were in the bottom three along with Deeksha. The episode was dedicated to the Bollywood greats Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor and Jagjit Singh who passed away this year.
