Sudha Chandran is all set to be back on-screen once again with a challenging role in Colors' show Doree. The actress will be portraying the role of Kailashi Devi in the show.

Seasoned performer, Vikas Sethi will be the next big entry in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka.

<em>K Street Pali Hill</em> is gearing for a new entrant. The late night Balaji soap will now have Aashish Kaul playing Sid Majani (yeah, somewhat on the lines of a younger, flamboyant Ram Jethmalani, if you please).

Iravati Harshe gave birth to a baby girl on 4 November. The lovely lady last seen prominently on Star Plus' late night thriller <em>K Street Pali Hill</em> is all aglow and brimming with joy over her 'Diwali gift'. Iravati does not plan to take up any projects in the next six months as she wants to only look after her newborn.

Luck definitely plays a very important role when it comes to actors. Naman Shaw, who went unnoticed on Zee's <em>India's Best Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj</em> last year, now plays the lead character in Balaji's <em>Kasamh Se</em>. We let him do the talking…. <strong>"It's all destiny"</strong> "I was voted out in the first round of the finals in Cinestars, I feel I wasn't lucky then. Yes, there are guys who got into the first five and are still struggling, but I feel its all destiny. <strong>How did you bag the role?</strong>

Iravati Harshe is a telly star whose been a class apart for all the good work she has been doing for over a decade. Be it <em>Shanti</em> where she was first seen and noticed or be it hosting <em>Surbhi</em> on DD or Dr Smriti Malhotra of Star Plus' <em>Sanjivini</em> or for that matter <em>K Street Pali Hill</em> where she was last seen, she has almost always been able to make a mark. For someone like her it is quality work over quantity that has always mattered which is why she is taking a year off now.

Drama sells! Perhaps more so if it comes from Ekta's stable. In what can be called a coup of sorts, Ekta Kapoor and Star Plus have decided to merge the storylines of their two hugely popular shows, <em>Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki</em> and <em>Kkavyanjali</em>.
