The highly talented Rucha Gujarathi is happy about winning her cluster of episodes in Life OK’s cookery show, <em>Welcome-Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki</em>. Says Rucha, “For the first time, viewers saw <em>Bhabhi</em> (her most famous character) cooking. I impressed everyone with my Chinese cuisines.” Her gang was an all-girl set which included Tanaaz Irani, Aanchal Munjal, Aishwarya Sakhuja and Sayantani Ghosh. Rucha Gujarathi, who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Saas Bina Sasural, will be seen entering Zee TV’s Ramayan (produced by Sagar Pictures). The actress will be seen as Ahilya. She will be Gautam Rishimuni’s (saint) wife. As per a reliable source, Ahilya will be cursed for allowing a stranger to enter the house, who apparently would have looks similar to that of her husband, Gautam. The man will be in the house and Gautam will enter. Out of anger, he will spell a curse which will turn Ahiliya into a statue.

Shapath</a></em>, on Life OK. The actress will play the role of a lead actor in a television soap.

Sony is all set to launch another new show after Rajan Shahi’s <em> Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.</em> The show’s title is yet to be finalised and it is being produced by <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/reliance-make-show-sony">Reliance Big Productions</a>. However, Rucha Gujarathi Sanghavi who is currently seen as Meera in <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/romance-air-beend-banoonga"><em> Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadhunga</em></a> has been roped in to play one of the leads in the show.

<em>Kkusum</em> and <em>Bhabhi</em> will both have to wait. <em>Kkusum's</em> Kali and <em>Bhabhi's</em> Suhana has just suffered a slipped disc and has been hospitalised. The petite Rucha Gujarathi was suffering from persistent pain in the lower back for the last four days but continued to report for work. On Wednesday, apparently, the pain got so bad that she was forced to visit a doctor who has recommended bed rest for an entire week. Her condition, she says, is still in the preliminary stages, and can be cured soon.
