But there are instances when he has merely made a cameo appearance and readers, believe us even the list of cameo appearances he has is not a short one.

Bollywood superstar has made 26 cameo appearances so far including films like Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Heyy Babyy, Bhoothnath, Bhootnath Returns to name a few.

Shah Rukh Khan, who became an overnight star with Yashraj’s Darr, surely owes one to Aamir Khan. Reason? Well, the Lagaan actor was the first choice for SRK’s role in Darr and the songs too were recorded keeping Aamir in mind. But Aamir believed the climax would make him look really weak and thus opted out.

Shah Rukh was then roped in and the rest, as they say, is history.

The Karan-Arjun jodi made for a cult one with the once best friends Salman and Shah Rukh Khan playing leads.

But interestingly Salman was not the original choice to play Karan in this Rakesh Roshan movie in 1995.

This is some interesting piece of information. Many are not aware of the fact that talented actor Riteish Deshmukh is also an interior designer and the King Khan Shah Rukh Khan is one of his clients.

Recently Shah Rukh tweeted, “Never said this but the Red Chillies office has been designed by the ever wonderful Riteish Deshmukh. Thanks my man and do come for some coffee soon."

To which Riteish Deshmukh replied, “Thank you Shah Rukh Khan for having faith in me to design the Red Chillies office, without even seeing any of my work."
