Sachin Sharma back with Aroona Irani's new show

Sachin Sharma last seen in <em>Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii</em> as Krishna and as Vedant in <em>Tumhari Disha</em> has been roped in by Aroona Irani to play the lead opposite Pallavi Kulkarni for her new show tentatively titled <em>Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai</em> for Sony.

Tumhari Disha to get justice

<em>Tumhari Disha</em> is soon to get another disha, with the help of two lawyers who enter the plot next month. Raavee Gupta and Manav Kaul are the actors chosen to play the two legal eagles in the Zee show, produced by Filmfarm Productions. "Both Raavee and Manav play interesting cameos. There will be a court case coming up in Disha's life. Manav will represent Disha, while the opposing counsel will be Raavee.Both of them are excellent artistes and they will take a very interesting stand in the show," says producer Rupali Guha.

Disha finds her mother!

<em>Tumhari Disha</em> is all set for a revelation in its forthcoming episode where Disha (Chavvi Hussain) finds out that Sudha Chandran (Vasudha) is her biological mother. Disha is in a dilemma whether to expose Vasudha or to accept her as her mother.

Bad girl Kavita now plays positive muse

Kavita Kaushik, who has quit <em>Tumhari Disha</em> has now moved on and added another serial to her Balaji portfolio with afternoon soap <em>Kesar</em>. Her first episode went on air last Wednesday and she seems to be going great guns with the show. Kavita, who had earlier spoken to Telly Chakkar, had said that she'd consider quitting <em>Tumhari Disha</em> if it didn't work well enough for her. Well, seems like she's stuck to her principles and moved on.

The family man is in business again!

Sachin Tyagi, the brooding pony tailed don in Star One's <em>Family Business</em> is all set to be part of Zee's <em>Tumhari Disha</em>. Sachin will replace Sachin Sharma, who plays Vedant in the serial. Sachin Sharma plays Krishna in Star Plus' <em>Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii</em> and Vansh in <em>K Street, Palli Hill</em>. His baby steps out of the Star parivaar didn't turn out to be a cakewalk!

Zee gets its own parivaar?

This is a gimmick that has been a trademark of the Star family - cross promotion of shows aired on the same channel. Now, Zee too joins the fray. Protagonists of different serials will now play cameos on <em>Tumhari Disha</em> and the sizzle will be provided by a hot item number.

Disha finds her soulmate!

They met on the sets of Yes or No, fell in love, and are now getting engaged---a picture perfect love story in the making. Chhavi Mittal, the lead protagonist of Zee's <em>Tumhari Disha</em>, is having a great start to the year. First, her show was rated the topmost among Zee's top 10 shows last week in the TRP stakes, and now her life seems to have found the disha it wanted. Chhavi will shortly get engaged to Mohit Hussain, one of the directors of Rooh, a serial based on the supernatural aired on Zee TV.
