Yeh Meri Life Hai

Shama Sikander, who kick started her career with Sony's <em> Yeh Meri Life Hai</em> as Pooja, is now all ready for her second innings in Bollywood. After doing some forgettable roles in films, the actress has now bagged a lead role in a flick <em> Dhoom Dhadaka</em>. Shama will be sharing screen space with Sameer Dattani in the film.

Simple Kaul is one helluva choosy actor who wants nothing but the best in terms of roles. If not been given enough scope to deliver, Simple is actuated to call it quits! And that's what she did with her latest show,<em> Kajjal</em> (Sony) where she Simple Kaul: Time for serious work and a break! essays the character of a radio jockey.

Amit Jain, who essays the role of an obedient foreign returned lad, Pranav on Sony's <em>Thodi Khushi Thode Gham</em>, is down with jaudice since the last two weeks. The actor whose claim to fame has been <em>Yeh Meri Life Hai </em>(Sony) as Ronit Gujral, was down with viral fever on 12 July and diagnosed for jaundice on 20 July. The actor is currently recuperating in the capital with his family and friends.

Amit Jain is the main lead in Shobhana Desai's new show on Sony, <em>Thodi Khushi Thode Ghum</em> where he gets to play an obedient foreign returned lad. Last seen in <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em> as Ronit Gujral, the actor has his hands full with <em>Thodi Khushi Thode Ghum</em>.

Siddharth Dhawan, who had been in hibernation for over a year after the demise of <em>Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand</em>, is set to come back in two more Aroona Irani shows. One is Dor that will launch soon on Sab TV, and another, whose title is yet to be decided. Dor includes other prominent faces like Muskaan Mehani and Sachin Shroff, who play the lead while Indira Krishnan, Adi Irani and Kiran Kumar play other strong roles.

Come 23 December and <em>CID</em> on Sony will see Kavita Kaushik playing a cop in the show. "I play Anushka, an investigative cop working for the central intelligence in the show. I am working with such senior actors and it is such a pleasant experience shooting for the show. I play this young courageous cop who is very enthusiastic, ready to learn and take on any difficulty that comes her way. The serial is shot like a film and I think I am growing as an actor ," says the lovely lady who has <em>Kesar</em> in hand currently.

Poornima of <em>Yeh meri life hai</em> played by Smita Bansal is dying in the serial this week. Smita Bansal who replaced Sheetal Thakkar in the serial took up the contract knowing well that though it was a meaty role but would last no more than three months.She plays Pooja's sister in the serial.Now that her character is already shown in a mental asylum, it will also come to an end shortly.

The pretty gal of Sony's <em>Yeh Meri Life Hai</em> is now the face of Kaya Skin Clinics. She launched Kaya Skin Clinics Advanced Facial in Ahmedabad on 25 August.
