TV actresses give tips to STYLE IT UP this Diwali

Happy Diwali everyone.

The festival of crackers, sweets and super fun moments is here. To make the most of the enjoyable times ahead, it’s time to get your best clothes and accessories out and bring out the fashionista in you.

To help all you pretty ladies deck up, here are some style tips from your favvourite TV actresses. Have a look.

Mihika Varma:

Although I hate dressing up (since we are always decked up due to shoot), Diwali is the only time I buy a new salwar suit and dress up nicely. Red or pink is the colour for me and I wear my mom’s real jewellery. I don’t dress too heavy as we go around meeting friends and family all day long. One should take time and look their best on this occasion for sure.

Aneri Vajani:

I like wearing kurti and jeans and a stole over it. Youngsters should wear whatever they are comfortable in. And parents should not force them to wear heavy clothes during Diwali. It should be left upon them as comfort is the most important factor in style.

Dimple Jhangiani:

I love the festival which is all about colours and lights. I make it a point to go traditional on this occasion as I am mostly dressed in western clothes. I feel one should dress in clothes they are comfortable and happy with. But do try wearing bright clothes. Also make sure to put a bright smile; that adds to your look.

Roopal Tyagi:

I love wearing lots of silver jewellery on festivals. Also I have got a nose ring which I am happily adorning with a pink and white suit. This is the time to shop and bring your best foot forward and dress in your favourite colors and accessories.

Aparna Dixit:

Since we normally are dressed in casual, such occasions give us a chance to dress up. I love going traditional in festivals and teaming up my suits with matching accessories. One should understand their body and comfort and dress accordingly. Comfort gives you confidence and makes you look the best.

Farnaz Shetty:

Although Diwali is a time to go traditional, I feel it is not mandatory. Also there are so many options like skirts, kurtis and other Indo-Western dresses. You can opt for ethnic jewellery to complete the look. If you don’t like jazzy stuffs, choose nice and sober ones. If you feel good, you will definitely look good.
