She is a fashionista, a diva, a skilled actress and she is breathtakingly beautiful! Her sunny smile brightens up a gloomy day and her zing for life and get-up-and-go attitude is almost contagious. Sukirti Kandpal has enthralled her spectators with her screen presence. She shot to fame with popular soaps like Jersey No.10, Dill Mill Gayye, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani, Rab Se Sona Ishq, Hum Ne Li hai Shapath and was last seen in Life OK’s Kaisa Yeh Ishq hai.

The elegant and mesmerizing actress is not really a diehard football fan but has been enjoying the ongoing FIFA Fever on her . In a free-wheeling chat with Tellychakkar.com, Sukirti shares her views on the fervid FIFA Fever for our Football Fever Section.

Are you enjoying the FIFA World Cup matches?

I have watched quite a few matches. I haven’t really followed it. But I think FIFA football matches are fun and exciting. I enjoyed the matches that I watched.

Do you like football more than cricket?

Even though I have a number of football enthusiasts around me, I still prefer cricket over football. Cricket feels more like a home game. Football is energetic and wonderful, but I personally love Cricket.

There was a time when disturbing lines and unclear picture quality was the way of life. Today technology has moved leaps and bounds giving crystal clear picture quality with HD TVs and set top boxes, within the comforts of our homes. Have you opted for any of these?

Yes I have opted for and it has been a wonderful experience. I like watching everything on television in high definition. So Tata Sky has been an apt choice.

Do you think HD (High Definition) enhances viewing experience? Have you switched to HD channels to enjoy your favourite shows?

Yes it does, to a great extent. It is a perfect combination of great clarity, amazing picture quality and good sound. My is value for money and I am very happy with the outcome. I enjoy my favourite shows and movies in high definition.

Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi- Your favourite player?

Cristiano Ronaldo is my favorite football player. I love the way he carries himself on field. He is an absolutely talented and brilliant player.

Who do you think will win the cup?

I think there is a strong chance that Argentina might win FIFA World Cup 2014.

Finally, come up with a FIFA slogan?

It is more than just a game!
