The hottest event of Tinsel town this weekend was Arpita Khan and Ayush Sharma’s baby shower. The soon-to-be mommy and her dearest hubby had an elaborate celebration at one of Mumbai’s posh hotels. While the afternoon affair saw the best of Bollywood in attendance, one pair that was missing from the fun (and all the pictures shared by the guests) was- Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora. We are yet to get the dope on the reason behind Arbaaz skipping his sister’s baby shower, but we can take a wild guess. Remember the rumour of the two splitting up? In fact, a blind item in one of the popular gossip sites recently hinted at the couple living separately. But truth be told, the couple is not really new to the rumour game as there was some nasty gossip about Malaika allegedly having a torrid affair with Arjun Kapoor, who apparently was seeing Arpita Khan before she married Ayush in a lavish wedding in November last year. Phew. Guess that’s what's kept them away from the limelight. Do they not want to answer awkward questions or is their break-up is true? Your guess is as good as ours. The soiree was attended by Anushka Sharma, Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, and filmmaker Kabir Khan, among others. Interestingly, Salman’s rumoured ex Sneha Ullal as well. Sallu himself was at his dapper best in a black vest.
