Beautiful and charming Kanchi Kaul, better half of Shabbir Ahluwalia, who is currently seen as Shraddha in Star Plus’ Bhabhi, is a big foodie but indulges in sport activities to stay fit.
In a chat with Tellychakkar.com, she shares some of her fitness mantras.
Personal fitness mantra: Frankly speaking, I don’t follow any fitness mantra nor do I go to a gym. But yes, I indulge in sport activities like squash and badminton.
Personal diet mantra: I eat everything but only homemade food and avoid junk food.
Exercise routine: As I said, I don’t go to a gym, but if at all I put on weight, I go for brisk walking.
Are you a foodie? I am a big foodie.
Are you a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian? I am a strict non-vegetarian.
Favourite cuisine: Japanese and Chinese.
Favourite dish: Yakhni, it’s a Kashmiri dish.
A must on your breakfast table: Banana milkshake.
Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee: I neither drink tea nor coffee.
Lunch generally consists of: Rice, one non-veg item and dal.
Dinner generally consists of: Same like lunch but different dishes.
Dessert delights: Chocolates.
One thing I can't resist: I can’t resist chocolates. I like to have one every night.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic): Diet coke.
My favourite drink (alcoholic): Whisky.
At parties I have: A glass of champagne with some non-veg munchies.
Most unusual dish I've tasted: Nothing as such.
Experiment with food: Yes, I like to taste different kinds of food.
On the streets, I love to have: Pani Puri.
Do you cook? Yes and I am a very good cook.
Fitness tip: Avoid junk food and eat in proportion.
