The Epic Channel is all set to launch three new shows this month. The channel will present fresh and exciting content starring renowned Bollywood personalities. The creators will bring to its audiences shows like ‘Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’ presented by Anurag Basu, ‘Mid-Wicket Tales With Naseeruddin Shah’ and ‘Jaane Pehchaane With Javed Akhtar’. ‘Jaane Pehchaane With Javed Akhtar’ will see the legendary Bollywood icon Javed Akhtar explore the evolution of Bollywood cinema, from vamps to villains, friends to family and their relations, and much more. Javed Akhtar, known to create magic with his play of words, will share insightful opinions, anecdotes, his experiences and unknown stories about the most powerful characters of Indian cinema on the show. ‘Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’ is an adaptation of the literary genius’ short stories. The show is directed by the acclaimed director, Anurag Basu who will bring to life Tagore’s timeless tales in his own visionary style. ‘Mid-Wicket Tales’ will see the veteran Bollywood actor, Naseeruddin Shah make a comeback to the small screen. In His versatile demeanour, he takes us through the journey of various aspects of cricket, narrating the many untold stories within its realm.
