Abhishek Malik and Mitali Nag quit Sony TV’s Khubsoorat

Nobody likes being a part of a sinking ship and the scenario seems to be pretty relevant when it comes to Sony Entertainment Television’s show Dil Ki Nazar Se Khubsoorat (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions). The show which is all set to take a leap of five years has never managed to put the TRP charts on fire. Rohit Khurana, better known as Madhav/Ehsaas, was the first one to move out of the project and now two other actors, namely Abhishek Malik (aka Rahul) and Mitali Nag (aka Prerna) have also called it quits. Yes…it seems like a mass exodus now… So why did the actors hit the “ciao ciao” button? Let’s hear it from Abhishek, “I got to play all that I was promised initially by the makers of the show. But, the creatives weren’t very sure as to which way my character would head post the leap. Therefore, I decide to move out. The decision was amicable,” said the actor. Mitali stated, “I was not at all happy with the way my track was progressing. In fact, it never took off from day one, so I felt the leap was the right time for me to make an exit.” Both Abhishek and Mitali have already shot for their last scenes. As per the plot, their characters will be shown shifting to Bangalore.
