Abhishek Malik to play a cameo in Punar Vivah

Abhishek Malik was recently in the news for having moved out of Sony Entertainment Televisions’ Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd). The latest is that the actor has bagged a meaty role in Zee TV’s Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed. Earlier during the day, Tellychakkar.com reported about Raj (Karan V Grover) looking out for prospective grooms for his wife Sarita (Srishty Rode) to get her re-married. And if sources are to be believed, Abhishek will enter as one of the prospective grooms; his character name would be Rohan. Interestingly, he will end up falling for Raj’s eldest sister Sheela (Nazea Sayed). When we spoke to the actor, he confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I am a part of Punar Vivah. It’s a cameo that will go on for two months. I took up the show as I can never say no to Shashi and Sumeet Mittal.” The actor will begin shooting for the same on 3 July, 2013.
