MUMBAI: Many Television celebrities like Mouni Roy, Tina Dutta and Jannat Zubair are gifted with beautiful voices.

While a few feel blessed with the gift from god, others make a point to use their talents by exploring new opportunities.

One of such actresses is Sana Amin Sheikh from Krishnadasi.

The actress who is also an RJ is blessed with a melodious voice. She keeps on posting tiny videos of herself singing for her fans on social media.

However, Sana recently took her love for singing to another level by recording a cover song.

We got in touch with Sana to know more about it, she said, “Music runs in my blood.Most of my family members are classically trained.My grandfather and great grandfather were professional singers and stage actors in Gujarati theatre.Although I'm not trained since I never got a chance, I always wanted to sing."

She added, “Randomly I keep posting Insta videos of me singing/humming, this is for the first time I ever recorded my voice in a recording studio..  Being an RJ it was easy to be behind the mike. But singing is altogether a different thing”.

We asked Sana about the idea of getting the song recorded, she said, “A friend Sharjil Attarwala came up with this idea of doing a mash-up of hit Punjabi songs in an unplugged form. And I was up for it. Since I'm free these days we could also shoot a car pool video in Mumbai. I think it's sounding amazing.( smiles). Let's hope people shower their love on my singing videos”.
