After Abhishek Awasthi, Ami Trivedi returns to SAB TV with Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai

Recently, Tellychakkar.com reported about Abhishek Awasthi getting back to the SAB TV family with their upcoming show, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai, produced by Frames Productions. Now, the beautiful actress with a natural instinct to her acting, Ami Trivedi will make a comeback to the channel that gave her name and recognition. Ami who has featured in SAB TV’s two popular shows Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo and Papad Pol – Shahabuddin Rathod Ki Rangeen Duniya will play a very interesting character in the new show. Ami will be part of a Gujarati family, who would reside in one of the rented rooms in the bungalow owned by Lal Singh (Rajesh Kumar). The beauty of this family will be that the members will be named after famous Gujarati delicacies. The family of four, will be headed by the husband named Khakra. His wife will be called Imarti, and her mother-in-law will be named Basundi. The couple will have a son named Ghugra. Ami Trivedi will play the role of Imarti, while seasoned actress Apara Mehta will essay the mother-in-law, Basundi. Actor Samir Shah will play Ami’s husband, Khakra. As reported earlier, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai will be a big experiment in terms of uniqueness in its genre. It will be a fiction show, set up on a non-fiction platform. When contacted, Amit told us, “Yes, I have a very good connect with the channel. And I am happy to be back doing a show with SAB TV. This concept is very interesting, and I will play a Gujarati character yet again. However, I will see to it that I incorporate changes in the character to make it look different from the ones I have played earlier.” On her role, Ami described, “The lady will be a housewife, doing bit of work as an LIC agent. She will have the knack to sell off LIC policies to anyone and everyone by impressing them with her talk, whether it be a rich man or even a beggar.” Ami starts shoot for Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai from today (26 May).
