Amit Behl to enter Sony TV's Jee Le Zara as Dhruv's father

The very talented actor Amit Behl who has been last seen in shows like Savitri and Buddha is all set to enter Sony Entertainment Television’s Kehta Hai Dil…Jee Le Zara as Dhruv’s (Ruslaan Mumtaz) father and will play a major part in keeping his son away from his love (Dhruv’s) Saanchi (Sangeeta Ghosh). Informs a source, “His character is loosely based on Amitabh Bachchan’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham who thinks only of business and money and has no scope of emotions in his life.” His character that will enter the show by next week will act as a thorn in the love story of his son. He being a rich and famous businessman will look down at middle-class people and will not agree to get his son married to a simple Saanchi, who is also elder to Dhruv. Amit’s character will be completely money minded and would want to make a name in the world with his work and business. Amit will start shooting by end of this week. We tried calling the actor but he remained unavailable for comment.
