MUMBAI: Since Tanushree Dutta came out in the open speaking against actor Nana Patekar for allegedly sexually assaulting her on the sets of Horn Ok Please way back in 2008, the incident has created a stir in the industry and the actress has gained a lot of support. Actors like Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Farhan Akhtar, and Raveena Tandon have showed their support towards the actress.
Several others have also joined the actress in standing up against sexual misconduct and shared their stories on social media. Television actress Ankita Lokhande has also extended support to women who have faced harassment of any kind.
Ankita shared a very strong message on her Instagram profile, calling out all the men who think they can easily get away after molesting a woman. She also has a message to parents who think clothes are responsible for such acts.
The #metoo movement has a voice in Bollywood now, and recent allegations have brought forward the names of several prominent men, including actors, stand-up comedians, senior journalists, and editors.
