Anupama Singh in Sony TV's CID

As part of celebrating Valentine’s Day, Fireworks Productions, the makers of CID, is all set to roll out an interesting episode. The episode will have Anupama Singh playing the role of the victim’s mother. The story will revolve around how Anupama’s character will leave for a kitty party to celebrate Valentine’s Day and her daughter will decide to spend some time with her fiancé. On her return she will find her daughter dead in her apartment. When we contacted Anupama, she confirmed that she will be seen playing the victim’s mother. “I worked with Fireworks Productions almost 10 years back. I was suddenly contacted and there was no way I could refuse as it gave me an opportunity to re-live those moments,” she said. Further airing her views on the kind of roles she would love to play on television today, she averred, “I think the TV audience has become mature and the production houses today do not feel scared to take risks. I would love to essay shades like what Sakshi Tanwar does in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain or a show so unique like Rangrasiya.” We wish her all the best!!!
