Ather Habib's dangerous car-naama

Machines are meant to make human lives simpler, but at times they can prove to be hazardous and dangerous. Who better can understand the fact than actor Ather Habib of Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yesterday morning (2 April 2012), Ather went to Mumbai airport to drop his friend. The moment he reached the destination, his car caught fire . The car’s windows were shut and Ather did not even realise it. It was only when his friend shot a loud scream; he dashed out of the car. “It was early in the morning and I was not even totally awake when I experienced such a horrifying incident. Initially, I was clueless what was going around. I was wondering why my friend got out of the car and started behaving weirdly. Even by-standers started to howl at me. Finally, when I stepped out I realised that the car’s bumper was on fire and it was making a scary sound. My heart actually skipped a beat after witnessing the dreaded scene,” narrates Ather to Tellychakkar.com. The handsome lad further shares, “it was a Honda City car and was not too old to see it getting burned to ashes.” However, he is glad that he got out of the car on time and managed to avoid any kind of physical injury. “My car was immediately taken to a repair station,” he ends.
