Ayub Khan in Cinevistaas' upcoming show for Star Plus?

Ayub Khan, the dynamic actor who essays the role of Jogi Thakur in Colors’ Uttaran, has apparently grabbed yet another plump project in Cinevistaas’ upcoming show for Star Plus, titled Daag. The show which is said to be loosely inspired from the Bollywood blockbuster Khoon Bhari Maang is now on the verge of finalizing its actors, post which the unit heads to Kolkata to shoot the initial five episodes. News about gorgeous yesteryear actress Simone Singh making a comeback on TV with Daag has been flashed in the media. Now, if things fall in place, Ayub Khan will be the next big name to be roped in for the channel’s big-ticket show. When contacted, Ayub Khan’s Manager told us, “Well, talks are presently on. But there is nothing finalized at the moment.” We tried contacting producer Siddharth Malhotra, but he remained out of reach. As per reports, Vatsal Seth will be the lead face in the show.
