Besides acting skills, an actor should also have a good physique: Alok Narula

Alok Narula
Handsome hunk Alok Narula, who was last seen in Zee TV’s Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein and will be seen doing a cameo in Fear Files for the same channel soon, is pretty excited as he prepares himself for both television and films these days. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Alok talks about his journey in tellyland and his future plans. “It’s been seven years now that I am in Mumbai and the journey from my homeland Himachal Pradesh to this metropolis has been really adventurous; however, it wasn’t a cake walk. Having always dreamt to be before the camera, I came to Mumbai to pursue my dreams in the field of acting. And a good thing is that all along the journey, my parents have been very supportive of me. Initially, dad was a little skeptical as he wanted me to handle his Tea business, but later, having realized that I wanted to pursue my dreams, he gave in. Today, I feel great to be part of the television industry but still have a long way to go. These days, I am working on my physique and looks and believe that in today’s times, a actor should have a good physique too besides good acting skills,” says Alok. “Actors like Gurmeet (Choudhary) and Karan Singh Grover have a great body with good looks. They can both play romantic as well as action-oriented roles very easily,” he added. When are you making a full-fledged comeback on television? “Right now, I am going through a lot of scripts for television. Besides, I am also focusing on films. Till now, I have played all kinds of roles and shown my versatility. In the future, I would want to do performance-oriented roles,” he informs. What about reality shows? “I don’t mind participating in dance reality shows. I like to watch Dance India Dance and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. I watch Jhalak for my very good friend Manish Paul; he is a superb host and a very good human being. In this show, he proves to be an icing on the cake. His sense of humor is outstanding and very spontaneous,” he avers. If not an actor what would you have been? “If not an actor, I would have been a cricketer. During my school days, I played this gentleman’s game up to the district level,” Alok answers. Are you single? “Yes, right now I only want to focus on my career. This is the time where I want to do something big and make my parents proud,” he concludes. We at Tellychakkar.com wish you all the best Alok!!!
