The drama surrounding Popatlal’s (Shyam Pathak) marriage in SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) has managed to captivate the imagination of the masses. It was a dream come true moment when Popatlal got engaged to Bulbul (Khushboo Tawde). Later a lot of drama hit the screens pertaining to Bulbul’s past on how she escaped from her house as she was in love with a guy called Rahul and used Popatlal to help her hide from her parents and the police so that she could elope with Rahul. However, when she was later traced, it was presumed that it was because of her love for Popatlal that she had eloped. Now with the approval of her parents and Bulbul, the marriage of Popatlal would be very much on the cards. Sounds like a happy ending story for Popatlal and Bulbul isn’t it? Wait, here comes a twist. While Bulbul has confessed her love for Rahul to Popatlal, she has also notified him that if Rahul does not turn up on the day of marriage, she would marry him instead of Popatlal. But Popatlal would be in a confused state of mind as to how can he get married to a girl who is in love with someone else? Phew! In the midst of all this confusion, whom does Bulbul finally get married to is the biggest dilemma in the minds of the viewers.
