CID to turn tri-weekly; Janvi Chheda to enter the team

Fireworks Productions’ weekend show CID on Sony Entertainment Television has kept the audience glued for a record number of years now. And the enthusiasm amongst the audience to watch the show seems to be on the rise with every passing week. Well, we are here to give some good news to the loyal fans of CID. The bi-weekly show which is being aired at the 10 pm slot on Friday and Saturday will now be turning into a tri-weekly. It will be aired every Friday to Sunday from the month of June 2012. A source said, “The date for this change has not been fixed yet. However, it is confirmed that CID will be aired tri-weekly from June.” We sent a text to Sneha Rajani, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, for a confirmation but she did not revert. However, when Tellychakkar.com contacted Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradhyuman, he confirmed this piece of news stating, “Yes, it is true that we will be going tri-weekly sometime post IPL.” We are sure CID fans are jumping with joy with this piece of information. And hold on folks. We have something more to share. With the show going tri-weekly, there will be few additions in the investigative team and the first name to get finalized is Janvi Chheda. She will play the role of a CID officer and will join the core team soon. When contacted, Janvi said, “Well, talks are in process but nothing is finalized as of now.” We shall soon bring more exclusive updates from the show!!!
