Recreation is a word that's become almost alien to our round-the clock working tellystars. Working at odd hours in closed doors seldom gives them a chance to intake fresh air. It's only when they shoot outdoors that they heave a sigh of relief.

Recreation is a word that's become almost alien to our round-the clock working tellystars. Working at odd hours in closed doors seldom gives them a chance to intake fresh air. It's only when they shoot outdoors that they heave a sigh of relief.
Daljit Kaur, of Kulvaddhu fame, made the most of her day's trip to Mahableshbar. The actress was in the hill station to shoot for INX's comedy show, which has Rakesh Bedi in the lead. Speaking on her character Daljit says, "I'm playing a cameo. For the first time, I'm portraying a Gujarati character. Rakesh's son wants to marry a rich Gujju girl which is played by me. It's a tale of a Punjabi family, so we've shown Mahableshwar as Punjab."
The actress also took her mom who had a jolly good time. "This trip served as a breather for both of us. It was nice to be away from Mumbai's pollution. It's for the first time, I've been to a remote village. Our location was surrounded by mountains. We met local school kids who were running after us for autographs. My mom interacted with most of them" says Daljit.
A day is never enough to scale the beauty of a hill station like Mahableshwar. The shoot made it impossible to bide time for sight seeing. "My mom was very keen to visit the local Ganesh temple. Unfortunately, she was confined to my vanity van for the rest of the day. Also, I was keen on having strawberries and cream but we had to make do with the set food," quips the actress.
We hope that the Kaur family pay visit to the Ganesh temple and Daljit can munch on strawberries and cream, the next time they visit Mahableshwar.
