It’s been nine years since Dill Mill Gayye happened, and touched our hearts with its magic!!

Dill Mill Gayye, the splendid show which brought about a cute love story set amidst the backdrop of a hospital received stupendous fan following till it lasted. And of course, the very mention of Dill Mill Gayye can create goosebumps for a loyal fan of the show even today!!

We at Tellychakkar.com talked to Producer Siddharth Malhotra, the guy who brought to us the popular show.

On the stupendous achievement of Dill Mill Gayye, Malhotra said, “Yes, I got to know when fans celebrated the moment on Twitter. It’s indeed a thrilling feeling, and I could not believe it when I heard of it. 9 years of DMG is simply great.”

Truly, it’s a moment to celebrate, and Malhotra will host a grand gala celebration very soon. “Well, my company Alchemy Films has its first show launching on SAB TV in the end of September. My birthday is also coming, so I will surely call in for a party very soon wherein I will want the entire DMG team to be present.”

Recollecting the pleasant memories of DMG, Malhotra shared, “Sanjivani as well as its sequel Dill Mill Gayye are so special in many of our lives. These shows made a lot of friends, and the friendships exist even today. I am talking about the whole unit, comprising of the writers, directors, creatives, technicians and the actors. The energy levels were so high in all of us.”

Talking about the DMG group, he said, “It was very difficult to break into the Dill Mill Gayye group.  Even today, when we all meet, we meet as though we are picking things up from where we left it. We recently met up at Karan’s wedding, and the entire team was there. I guess this bond will always remain, because we have had so much fun making the show. The show has had everything, starting with three heroines being changed, to us going to the actor’s houses to call them etc. We have had pleasant memories, and had some torturous moments too. But when we think about all that today, we laugh about it.”

“In totality, DMG has been a show which made lot of people and gave us a lot too. We feel blessed that Dill Mill Gayye happened to all of us,” exclaimed the Producer.

Three cheers to DMG and the entire team of the show!!
