The pretty and stylish lady has been missing from television for some time but for good reason. If sources are to be believed, the actress has bagged a movie project. Debattama will be playing the female lead in an upcoming Bengali film.

When TellyChakkar buzzed Debattama, she confirmed the news but refused to divulge details. ‘Yes, I have landed a film project, but I cannot reveal much. All I can say is it is a nice story and I immediately said yes to it. We have started the workshop. I hope the audience likes it,’ she said.

Debattama, who is also fond of singing, started her acting career with TV series E Amar Gurudakshina, which was produced by Subroto Roy Production and aired on Colors Bangla. She played the lead role in it.
