Ek Boond Ishq updates: Kalavati to kill family members, show completes 200 episodes

We reported about Life OK’s Ek Boond Ishq taking a leap and Chhavi Pandey playing a mother in the show. We now have some exclusive information coming to our news desk on how the story will progress after taking a leap. As Ek Boond Ishq completes its 200 episodes today, it seems that the makers (BBC Worldwide) of the show have sworn to deliver some fresh thrilling and mysterious tracks in the coming days. Here’s more info. While Viraf Patel, Hunar Hali, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Chhavi Pandey will be retained in the show post the leap, the supporting cast will be seeing an end adding some interesting twist in the show. Surprised? Read on to know how and what will happen next! While the viewers have been watching Nandini (Hunar Hali) plan a conspiracy to kill Meethi’s (Nidhi Uttam) child in the show, Kalavati (Vishwajeet Pradhan) will learn about this and will show her (Nandini) the door prior to the leap. Also, Nirmala (Gauri Tonk) will learn about the evil intentions of Kalavati and she will end up getting stabbed by the vicious Kalavati. Cuts in a source, “The reason Nirmala would be killed because all the characters will age post leap and Gauri Tonk did not want to be seen elderly on screen. Hence the creatives decided to kill her character.” Now post the jump, Kalavati’s truth will come out in the open to the members of the Shekhawat family. Meethi will give birth to a baby girl and Kalavati will be seen blackmailing the family members. She would threaten to kill the child if the truth gets exposed. But Kalavati staying true to her nature will kill all the family members and make a run for her life while Tara (Chhavi Pandey) and Mrutyunjay (Viraf Patel) would follow her to save the baby. Tellychakkar.com earlier reported of Ankur Nayyar and Priya Bhatija entering the cast of the show as a brother and sister respectively. We now learn that Ankur’s character will have a past connection with the protagonist Tara and she will be seen living with him. So what would happen about Mrutyunjay? Will he not support Tara? Will Nandini plot against Kalavati? Will Kalavati again come to sting Tara and Mrutyunjay’s life? Yes. The post leap phase on the show will be a box full of surprises! Talking on the show’s development and the 200 episodes achievement, creator and writer, Saba Mumtaz said, “It feels amazing. We have managed to successfully achieve a very different television programming in the cluster of daily soaps. We want to surprise our viewers in every episode and it feels great that we have managed to pull it off for 200 episodes. Inshallah there would be many more to come.” The team of BBC Worldwide had a joyous time celebrating their success with a cake cutting ceremony followed by a party at Saba’s house. Viraf added his pleasure saying, “We all feel very powerful on completing 200 episodes. There is a lot of positive energy bouncing around as it resonates the success of Life OK too. I feel blessed and proud to be a part of the show and as we enter a new phase, we are nervous, confident and excited.” We congratulate the team at Ek Boond Ishq on crossing the 200 episode mark and wish them luck for their new phase!!!
