Pretty and talented Teena Chopra, who is best known for her role of Payal in Star Plus’ popular thriller Ek Hasina Thi , of late, has been missing from screen.

The actress is back to school! Yes, you heard it right!!!

Teena is currently in the US to pursue acting at a very famous acting school. She has taken an admission at the very famous acting school Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York to pursue Method Acting.

In a candid conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Teena told us, “I have been busy traveling and doing print ads post Ek Hasina Thi. Lee Strasberg is one of the best acting schools in the US and I have never learnt acting before and there is always a method to doing everything. So I thought that a course at Lee Strasberg will make me a confident actor.”

“I loved the environment and the teaching style provided there so much that I extended the duration of my course from 12 weeks to a year and I will be back to India only by mid 2017. I am getting to explore myself more now,” added the actress.

We also asked Teena about the roles she is looking forward to play when she will be back to the field of acting. She added, “Umm, that’s a tough one! I would love to play all sorts of roles because I feel that acting is about taking up new challenges. So whatever the best I will find for myself, I will take up that.”  

“Method acting is booming these days and many popular actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Amit Sadh have studied here. I have made some beautiful friends here and I am having fun. I have been meeting people from different countries and different cities and they are lovely people to be around with,” signed off Teena.
