Work may take you to places, but deep down, the heart pines to leisurely stroll through the lazy and warm corridors of your home. And Fahad Ali aka KD of Channel V’s The Buddy Project (Sunshine Productions) knows exactly what we are talking about. The actor who recently attended the Star India fund raising event for Uttarakhand was all praise for this initiative as he shares, “Since I come from Uttarakhand (Dehradun), I feel all the more responsible towards the cause. I was very impressed by the project and I would request everyone to contribute for the betterment of the people there. Just a simple SMS can also make a difference.” The actor who does not get much time to visit his home town, says his heart belongs there. “Although I don’t get long holidays, am always connected to my family there, I miss them a lot. And I would do all that is needed to fulfill my responsibility towards my family and my state.” The angry young man who recently shot an action packed fire scene also hurt himself while enacting it. Talking about it, the talented actor says, “It was an accident since the fire went slightly out of control, thankfully no one was hurt badly.” Fahad also adds that he enjoys performing action scenes, for which he was appreciated in the first season. “The heavy duty stuff was so much fun, but now there is more of mushiness. Although its part and parcel of KD’s character growth, I miss the kicking action sequences.” While concluding the actor says, “I would like to take this opportunity to ask people to contribute to this project and sms HUM to 57827 to support the cause.” Very well said Fahad, it always feel special to have such responsible youth around in the country.
