Govinda turns singer on Star Plus' Mad In India

We have all seen him act, dance and giggle but viewers will soon be in for a surprise as they see Govinda reveal the singer in him. When the actor landed-up on Star Plus’ Mad in India – 100% Desi Show (Key Light Productions) he broke into an impromptu jig on Manish Paul’s request. When Manish asked him about his singing talent he felt nostalgic and gave the entire credit to his mother Nirmala Devi who herself was a classical vocalist. He even sang a thumri sung by her - Saawariya chain kahan se paou. Later, on Manish’s request he also sang one of his favourites Chandi ki cycle sone ki seat. Govinda as we all know will be accompanied by the lovely Karishma Kapoor with whom he has given some of the best hits in the 90’s.
