With the show Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai all set to launch from 16 October on Sony PAL, Tellychakkar.com got talking to the very lovely Aparna Dixit who will be seen playing the lead Poorvi in the show. The actress has had a long stint with Balaji Telefilms having been part of its serials like Pavitra Rishta and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. Talking about her association with them, she quipped, “It is not just a long association but a very close one also. Balaji is a production house which every actor would want to get associated with. I have been lucky to have got such a great break with them. And I want to do their shows all my life.” Talking about her character, Aparna shared, “The girl is simple and sweet but is fiery and responsible. She is the only one who can stand against Arjun (Navi Bhangu) and bring his bloating ego in place (laughs). She is a girl who lives for today and doesn’t have big dreams for herself. All she wants is a family with children and loads of happiness. And although I cannot reveal much about the storyline, I must say it is a beautiful love story and I am sure people will like it a lot.” This being her first show as a lead, is she not apprehensive of the fact that the show is launched on a new channel? “To be honest, I am not at all apprehensive. I am not even thinking about it. All I know is that we have worked really hard and we are sure we will touch the right notes with the audience. At the moment it’s all going really positive for me and I hope it carries on in this way.” Three cheers to your positive attitude, Aparna!!
