Jay Soni out of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya owing to his ‘stubble look’; Gaurav Bajaj replaces

Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Jay Soni’s comeback of sorts to episodics with Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. Well, here is a bad news for his fans who had already started tweeting him, excited on the prospect of seeing him in an episodic story after a long time. Jay is not doing the episodic now, and has been replaced by Vroom fame Gaurav Bajaj. The reason is that the story needed a guy with a clean look, and Jay’s stubble look did not fit the bill. A source states, “Jay had few prior commitments and could not shave off his beard. And when he got to know of this criteria, he did the explaining part. And the creative team decided to let go of him from playing the role.” When contacted, Jay confirmed the news saying, “Yes, this was a misunderstanding. I am feeling bad at not doing the episodic, as I had even postponed my vacation to shoot for this story. In fact, they wanted a guy with a clean-shaven look and all know that I have been sporting a small beard. I could not take it off owing to commitments elsewhere. I know my fans would be disappointed at this development.” The shoot for this particular story with Vrinda Dawda in the central role has commenced. The story will be about a particular girl who would get humiliated and abused owing to a raid taking place. And how this young boy would come into her life as a breath of fresh air will be the basic crux of the story. The story we hear, would have a tragic end. Gaurav Bajaj, who has featured in movies like Vroom, Phir Kabhi, a Bengali film titled Tor Naam will essay the central role opposite Vrinda. Gaurav has earlier been part of Yeh Hai Aashiqui, MTV Webbed and Ishq Kills. Jay, there is always a next time!!!
