If sources are to be believed, the makers have zeroed down upon the good looking and charming Karan Wahi to play their hero. The actor is in final consideration for the role of the main lead and if all goes well, Karan will be making a comeback to fiction TV after Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.
A close source shared with us, "The makers are very keen to get Karan onboard. The strong multi dimensional character needed a performer and Karan fits the bill. The actor's final meeting with the channel is to happen next week."
The actor was last seen hosting Dance India Dance and is all set to tickle your funny bones with Comedy Nights Bachao.
When we called Karan he said, "I am yet to meet the makers, so I cannot comment anything on it."
Producer Guroudev Bhalla remained unavailable to comment.
The hunt for the female lead is still on though actors like Lalit Parimoo, Pankaj Dheer, Shresth Kumar, Pyumori Mehta, Debhashish Naha and Piyali Munshi have been already locked to play pivotal roles.
